Dental Imaging

What is Dental Imaging

Dental imaging is a process that allows the patient to be educated on the dental work about to be performed. Using a mini-camera, the dentist inserts a probe into the patient’s mouth and projects a color image that is magnified by thirty-five times onto a television screen.

The process allows the patient to see first-hand, in magnification, any problems with their teeth and understand completely the procedures that may be necessary to correct these problems.
