Maxillofacial Prosthetics

Maxillofacial Prosthetics

We have you covered {here}

Our specialists handle some of the most rare and complex cases of face and jaw conditions and emergencies. From initial surgery to final fitting of custom temporary appliances or permanent solutions, we have the technology and in-house laboratory expertise to do anything it takes to restore your health, comfort and confidence.

Cleft Palate

For some patients with cleft palate, both the front and back parts of the palate remain open when it fails to form fully during pregnancy. For other patients, only part of the palate remains open. Both conditions can affect breathing, eating, speech and more. Our maxillofacial specialists create appliances to connect palate tissues and restore more comfortable mouth function.

Oral Cancer

Oral cancer and subsequent surgery can leave patients with vacancies in the mouth that make eating, drinking, talking and general mouth functions very challenging. Our maxillofacial specialists are trusted by local physicians who send us these sensitive cases for restoration and improved functionality for such special patients. Dr. Gruendel works with patients to create highly customized appliances that make them feel whole once again.

Trauma

If trauma has caused tooth breakage, loss or damage, we are here to help with extraction and restorative procedures to bring you greater comfort. Please contact a specialist immediately if you are experiencing such pain and acute or chronic trauma.
