The best technology makes all the difference
CEREC CAD/CAM technology by Sirona Dental Systems takes vivid pictures of the entire mouth to create a 3-D model of the gums, teeth and detailed surfaces. The accuracy of this technology far surpasses any older impressions procedures for prepping crowns, veneers or fillings.
There is no patient discomfort through this process and we get the image capture and molds within one visit. We use CEREC to take an optical impression of the prepared tooth or area to be restored. Instead of filling a tray with impression “goop” that you must bite into and hold in your mouth until it hardens, we coat the tooth with a non-toxic, tasteless powder. A camera is used to take a digital picture of the tooth and this whole Optical impression process takes only a minute or less. The porcelain block is then loaded into the Milling Machine and the milling process takes 15 to 20 minutes. The result within one visit is a beautiful all porcelain (ceramic) restoration to be cemented in place and you are on your way way with a permanent restoration in only one visit. Your total time in the office varies from one to two hours.
With fewer injections, less drilling and far less time wasted with inaccuracies, we deliver high quality restoration work to restore your comfort and confidence. With 36 years of proven technology at work behind CEREC, patients are assured that this process is the best solution available for restoring a beautiful smile.
